Why?

Instead of asking can she be on the board, one should ask WHY was she appointed to liquor board?

drinking principals
by Informed on Nov 26, 2014 04:45 PM  | Hide replies

Principals and teachers drink anyway. So, they can be part of a liquor company board. When there is no morality at the bottom, one or two cases don't matter. We are in a time where non-drinkers are seen as losers. Teachers are no more role-models, they are just paid agents to deliver information. Past is over, its no more a moral society, so its an unnecessary discussion. Let anyone be anywhere doing anything as long as its within the limits of the british made indian law. Thats the mantra now.

What is so immoral about drinking? If you sit in the privacy of your home, or in a pub and drink responsibly and obey the laws, are you doing anything immoral? Next people will start saying that sx is immoral. All kinds of fake godmen and cheats can carry on their business here, but if someone has a small drink, he becomes "immoral." Wonderful.

So what are you trying to say? Be crystal clear.

Should J N Gupta of Stakeholders’ Empowerment Services (SES) have the Gupt Gyaan to comment on this issue?

As it is there are very few ladies capable of being independent directors of Company Boards in this country that specifies there must be women and not only men, as independent directors.

So goo to Gupta.
