This story gives a good reading. A simple man but high thinking and execution. We wish we had such entrepreneurs in industry so that the public money is not wasted in extravagance.

This is a result to regular hard work. Not like us who work 9-6 job and think that they have really worked hard today.
Here is such a great entrepreneur who just meant business. Probably, his policy of keeping a low profile was a strategy to keep away from the eyes of politicians and other such people who would have stormed the company like vultures. Gupta has proved that sincere business without much hullabaloo can also work. Kudos to him and Havells.

It's not possible to become a rich businessman in India without paying off politicians, bureaucrats, unions and other sundry government and private middlemen. The system simply does not allow sincerity even if a businessman wants it. So, there is no true "honest" rich businessman in India. If a magazine says otherwise, they're just ignoring the bad parts and showing the good parts.

It is not possible in any country to become a rich businessperson without paying off politicians, unions and middle agents.
