Parsis are not a minority, they are a "micronity. Most important thing about them is that they have never claimed minority benefits. Having created so much wealth for the country, there is nothing wrong in Parsi founded corporates giving jobs to Parsis for their survival, even if it means discounting merit of others and giving special attention and training to this community.
it helped that the Parsis took care of themselves, they really didn't feel the impact of the invasions and colonization as much as the rest felt in the sub-continent.
while we grant they don't display crass habits of some of the ruthless trading groups or communities, they did leverage their position well and kept the assets. the natives found them more acceptable than the invaders, incl. the british, because they never took the administrative positions or responsibilities which bring their own resistance and reactions.

I would have added that they are very inward looking too..but having seen even the so called corporate leaders shamelessly promoting their kith and kin ahead of merit and passing on their assets, one must say that capitalism is the way of life for smart fellows, socialism is a way of selling political view points to those who are less aware and less gifted.
