but friends let me make it very clear to you all,the persons receiving the benefits now were actually not working at all.i was personally involved one thiers audits only to find that most of the money was either diverged by the block officials to the names those persons who didnt even work only there names were used and they received the money for no work done by them and to give a rather large portion to the officials as bribe.the scheme has only been misutilized not only by the people but by the officials involved.no proper work was done in any of the districts ,many works still left uncompleted but the whole money was released.many of the village people just and sit and enjoy the money they receive trough this scheme.rather it is better to abolish this scheme and implement scheme where people are first trained properly to work to efficiently yield costructive results.all the money spend in all these years has mostly gone in vain rather than any development of the areas where the schemes has been implemented.pls check yourself out in own area to get some proper idea.when you see the project cost and the work done there you will be completly surprised for the taxpayers money lost without any notice of common man.
