Time alone can tell

We have to see how successful Srinivas is in the BCCW of Hong Kong. He has used his position in Infosys to jockey himself to the top in PCCW. Infosys will go on without the people who have resigned so far. Merely getting business in a seller's market is not enough; one should be able to sustain oneself in a buyer's market. One Dr. Rohan Murthy is not sufficient for Infosys to grow. Several top doctorates like him who have worked hard in America or elsewhere must be encouraged to develop the company without nepostism. The company must get rid of under-qualified over-hyped employees with no qualifications. Indian executives are under-qualified hypes who over-sell themselves. They will know what quality is if they follow top and highly educated people like Raghuram Rajan, Subramanian Swamy, Man Mohan Singh, Chakravarthy Rangarajan, Arun Shourie and Najma Heptullah. These under-qualified executives cannot even write a good position paper on their own industry. They have phony management (MBA) diploma without good economcis or scientific knowledge. People like Rohan are the future, while those like Srinivas are the past and not even the present.

Too late. Morale of employees and confidence of clients have long gone. Every Infosys guy barring Rohans resume is out there in the market for hire at a price. You can't lose 10 of your top talent and make a comeback.

Imagine a cricket team without its top 10 . Its finished. IT is all about momentum , once you lose it its gone for good. There are very very few companies who have made a comeback. It usually goes from bad to worse to mediocre and thast Infosys fate now.

The company is in a mess and the management does not know what to do,the restlessness among senior
executives has become aggravated after resigned on Wednesday. Executives who are considering to leave the company
include the head of business unit that for now accounts for about 13% of
company's revenues. Two other executives who are also in "advanced
level talks" with headhunters.

You cannot play Test matches with league standard players.
