Management should take responsibility
by manoj on Jun 01, 2014 12:23 PM

I salute to the employees of Hind Motors who have worked for free for 6 months . This can happen only in Bengal . The hefty pay checks of the management should be cut and they should look for tie up with some international brand and revive the product with new designs and features which the management should have done much earlier.

The management is in total fault they have not monitored the changes in auto industry and innovations required.....

It is time Hind Motors is wound up.
by Prasad on Jun 01, 2014 08:23 AM

It cannot be revived. If Mamata Banerjee thinks she can keep it alive she is in a fools' paradise. Industries grow up, thrive and then decay. When they decay, it is better to close them rather than trying to keep themoprn forthe sake of a handful of employees who did bother to move on and learn new trades.

Grow with the future

Earlier the indian based companies thrived because of lack of competition. They couldnt compete with the foreign brands. They should have grown with times or entered into any partnership with the foreign entities

Gross indiscipline of labors in Industries in Bengal
by on May 31, 2014 10:43 AM

The writer should stress on "indiscipline of workers" as the most important cause behind shutting down of industries in Bengal... They are more aware of their rights than about their duties...

In Kerala Agriculture is the Biggest Industry and its working...almost every house produces agricutural and other alied products, the land of Kerala doesnt require any other polluting industries..the percapita income is the highest in India even without this much hyped industry..every state has to follow the pulse of the land..industry in Kerala is totally desi style...stop comparing poverty striken Bengal with Kerala...every had a look at The Software Park..its going to be the biggest in Asia..

Kerala neither became prosperous because of agriculture nor because of software and IT parks. Keralites are economically well-off because of the money order economy supported by Gulf and ME jobs.

".the percapita income is the highest in India even without this much hyped industry."

do u think it might have something to do with the huge sums of money sent back home by malayalis working in middle east and else where?

If it is prosperous why most of the youngsters are outside Kerala? Bangalore is full of them in all sorts of jobs. wpp7m
