Good 4 Public, Bad 4 Oligarchs

So Pakistan is kicking, screaming and crying to grow up.

What will Pak.istani oligarchs do if forced to compete with Indian oligarchs?

Same as Indian oligarchs were forced to do when India opened up to the world, aka grow up by rationalising their family shop businesses.

Indian oligarchs did this by selling out to Global Co.'s, going rural and Global at the same time. And the usual bs, trickery, nepotism, buy-back, union-baazi, political arm twisting, buying international expertise etc. etc. Business as usual :).

Result: Over the past 25 yrs. the common man in India has benefited immensely from almost real Global quality manufactured goods at not only local prices, but dramatically cheaper prices too.

, Middle class Indians can afford their own vehicle, even cars. Unbelievably, even lower the class's can afford motor scooters, mopeds, motorcycles, cell phones etc., sometimes barely so- all locally made and even massively exported.

MFN with India is fantastic news for the common man in Pak., unfortunately - the middle class Pak.common man has been put to the grind past 25 yrs. Vs. the booming Indian common man.

For eg. the 25 yr. old new IT boom has created at least 1 Mil. middle class families, or 5-7 Mil. people and with knock on effect, another 5 Mil. trickle-down, lower-mid. class working for them. These direct 10 million 'feed-in' another 100-250 Mil. in the cities by bringing in over $ 108 Billion/yr. (x10-25 in PPP terms).
