Good Move

Modi picked the right person in Piyush Goyal for Power and Coal Ministry. Piyush is always well prepared and articulates his views on TV in a fine manner. He will be a successful Minister.Getting professionals to motivate and inspire his work force is a great idea. One good idea can change the whole Ministry. Modi by quick clearances, supplying coal to the power plants, etc will definitely see that almost all villages are electrified before his term ends.

How to adopt a village for electrification?
by Abhijit Kumar Medhi on Jun 03, 2014 03:45 PM

The article is silent about how to adopt a village for electrification. Will it be on files through notes on green sheets or physical field visit to the village and monitoring the electrification process? And what and how will a nontechnical(ministerial or clerical) person execute such a technical task? So,it would be better if Chetan Bhagat himself publish a short article on his suggestions.

NaMo has picked up Piyush Goyal to independently handle Power & Coal ministry. this Guy has the will to turn a white elephant into something that will start adding great value. this OOTB thinking of the young minister could help in bringing about the desired change which such unique initiatives

It does not matter. Even if the Babus are one thousandth more effective, the exp. would have beed paid more than 1000 times

Chetan Bhagat has political ambitions so he would never charge for something like this. It would be an honor to get an opportunity to interact with a Minister & spell out his views. He is looking at the big picture.
