Opposition slams Railway Budget
by Ramaswamy Sundararajan on Jul 08, 2014 08:43 PM  | Hide replies

The opposition is behaving like opposition, opposing any thing and every thing and every thing done by the Govt. One MP complains the Budget is illogical but his own view is illogical except of course he considers only what he says is logical. There will be no gain without pain.We had allowed to be cheated all these days by politicians engaged in populism instead of development. If the earlier Govts had been more 'logical' and less populist this budget could have been a little more liberal. In a desperate situation the budget has tried its best to move forward

AGREE ... NO PAIN ... NO GAIN
people say that it is concentrating on major cities only
the truth is as follows
only the travellers from big western and northern and southern cities pay for ticktes while travelling by our railways
MOST people from Utttar Pradeesh, Beehar and weest beengal never take ticket and travel without tickets only
And to bear the burden of those ticketless offensive travellers, the west, north and some south cities must be provided with more trains ... so that the income from people who pay for travel is used for people who never pay for travel
so, what is wrong if the paying cities and travellers get more and better services as compared to non-paying travellers ... ?

I fully agree. we in Mumbai paying advance for our season ticket but after new govt 90% of Central local trains are very old may be this is before 1947. what is the use. Rly. Minsiter and FM made provision 50,000 crores to Bullet train but at 5 crores to Mumbai suburbal local trains. See platform, some station old/aged people cannot get down because it is 1 to 1.5 ft height, no shelter, no proper toliets, See Dadar station is central place for both WR and CR and its toilet is just a worst cant stand iven 1 minute. then what is the use of increasing the fares. We do agree increase the fare and Mumbai travellers never hesitate to pay. In addition to this every day trainst are late by 10-15 minutes for example I am travelling by 7.34 am local from Dombivli it never come at 7.34 always it will arrive 7.50 or 8 am imigne how much crowds I have to suffer. is it s management of Central railw there is no proper announcement is it a managment. blody redicules. Jai Hind and expected Ache Din Ayagi it is our common need at least they should done it on war foot level.

I fully subscribe to your views of without ticket travelling as well as unnecessary chain pulling in the area pointed out by you.I am myself sufferer of these unnecessary chain pulling during my college dayy in bihar/west bengal.

good whatever you are said. there are three train from CSTM to Kolhapur but not a single train from CSTM to Hubli. Yes there is one train that to once in a week that start from LTT and its first halt is Lonavala why dont he make this train holt at thane, kalyan, karjat and after that other till Hubli and it should on daily basis to benefit to passengers from Miraj to Hubli and much benefit to Mubaities who are travelling every day upto Belgaum, Initially it may be loss but after that it increase good profit business. Please wake up authrity and study the same.
