Yes you are correct always mumbaiwalas they demand special even now they have reduced the rates suburban fares for them
What about the wealth accumulated in foreign reserves due to which we are 3rd economical power, why cant these money be used for betterment of railway instead of putting tax after tax on people.

Good coaches are given only between metros. In other trains, old dilapidated coaches are run. This is highly discriminatory.

Now that the new government has increased the fares substantially, the government should give world class railway services to all passengers! The existing curtains in 2A and 3A should be replaced by non-combustible ones instead of doing away with it under the guise of preventing accidental fires! This demand should be highlighted through social media net work!

Exactly. The main priority is to double or quadruple existing single and double tracks to increase average train speed by 20-40% and increase the number of trains by 50-100%.
Cutting down 24 hr journeys to 18 hrs will itself be a major accomplishment.
Cleanliness is the other major area of improvement and the passengers themselves are responsible for more than 50% of that. Indian people need to stop being filthy.

Yes, rail coaches and lavatories have to be kept clean. For this, the co-operation of passengers is also essential.
Rajadhani is fine. Other trains also need improvement. Taking 2 AC fare and keeping bogies worse than 3 class ones [NCJ Mumbai Ex.], serving the junk of the same mutter immersed in imly as food from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, not serving even decent tea/coffee in trains like Udyan Express, not providing clean toilets in 2 AC are some of the requirements that are to be urgently attended to. There is no use in increasing the fares all over India and catering better services only in Delhi-bound trains.

Like sand mafia and mining mafia, Railway catering is being controlled by catering mafia who are 'law unto themselves' and no one can touch them with 10 foot barge pole! The food available is unfit for human consumption and charges are levied as per their wishes! If you ask for the bill, many items are added as extra items purchased and a bill is issued! This practice is more prevalent in northern and north eastern railways! The deterioration started from Lalu's time which is still being continued!

Yes, you will get your share of stale food unfit for human consumption, bottled water with questionable quality, unwashed linen if you happen to travel in 3AC etc for which you have to pay through your nose now, thanks to the new Modi ministry!

Yeah, you want to pay the same fare as 14 years ago, but you want 20% salary increment every year.
Aam admi needs to start acting responsible and not stealing bulbs, fans, mugs, etc from trains. Aam admi should also learn how to use the toilet and not make it filthy for co-passengers. And aam admi needs to learn not to throw groundnut shells, used napkins, etc on the compartment floor.
