Amazon to launch its best selling e-reader in India

It seems surprising that i bought a kindle 3G 3 months back before its launch from Chroma Retail outlet.

You have the 2012 version. This is the 2013 (October) version which was launched in US.

Amazon has been dumping its old paperwhites in India for the last 4 months....because no one in the US was purchasing them.

I want to know if it can be used to read independent pdf documents, like articles, reports, research papers A4 size... even retail persons failed to solve my query..
Also retail people say they do not know about the after sales service...

I am looking to buy it for long...but less information alas!
