Infosys call employers as non performer.... What could Narayana murthy term ... Nandan Nilakeni.. a stalwart????...
After spending 3000 cr and half finshed and more importanly, UIDAI card not used, he wants to resign.... I think, Nandan never heard about Data mining, we could have used Data mining and saved 1000 of cr.
Btw, what is Narayanan Murthy himself??... performer or non performer.
nandan should fully involved in Aadhar UID until it is fully successfully implemented . he should concentrate on it which ever the govt come. Govt will change but aadhar should go on
Aadhar was the most abused GOI programme. One reason for that was the low level of literacy in many states that allowed crafty politicians to manipulate the idea of the UID to instigate the people of the nation.Nobody is paying heed to the fact that hardly 10 to 15 % of govt funds reach the beneficiaries of central schemes.A large chunk of the money is siphoned off by middlemen.UID is the only mechanism that can eliminate this outflow with a audit trail. There may be glitches in the system that can be corrected on the way. The vast majority of the complaints is regarding the UID being made available to ineligible persons.Weeding out such persons too will be possible thru UID and the numbers may be fewer in numbers . UID screeening process happens to be the only way to ensure genuinity of beneficiary since all other means have been exhausted and highly prone to widespread manipulation esp regarding the ration card long held by all as the ultimate ID proof. No political parties in India has come out with an alternative to UID simply because there is none. And all the criticism comes from the political system that looks forward to manipulation for their benefit. The political manipulators have all the reason to destroy a UID scheme so they can play political games with the beneficiary funds. They are simply provoking the illiterate population to make gains for themselves and have no other agenda. It is a very painful thing to let go the money that they enjoyed this far.

It has been brought in be deceit. The Govt first said that Aadhar would be voluntary. But they made it mandatory by bringing in impossible conditions that would force people to enroll. The genuineness of Aadhar is a separate issue.
