why is the media judging US court judgements
by brian crasto on Sep 10, 2014 11:18 AM  | Hide replies

Its sad part that the media is projecting that Mathew is innocent as he is indian. In US the laws and the prosecution are stringent and people in high places are not spared. Thats why the politicians have a clean image. Unlike our politicians are businessmen who have criminal records. If prosecuting agents are stringent, scams such 2g, coalgate would not happened. Here the Sebi compared to Sec is far more lenient. If the same yardsticks that are applied in US is applied in india most of the businessmen would be cooling their heels in jails

Are they trying to save Cohen?
by Srinath Reddy on Feb 07, 2014 11:36 PM  | Hide replies

Steve Cohen is a very influential businessman and has very high connections. It is of no doubt that Cohen is involved in all kinds of malpractice to achieve this kind of wealth in short period of time. I would not be surprised if this desi guy is indeed innocent and was sacrificed to save Cohen.
