Congratulations, particularly being another Telugu fellow. His turning point was to leave India and went US. Otherwise, he would have ended up being a program manager in companies like TCS etc. OR stopped by politics, nepotism, bureaucracy, favoritism etc.
Also, if it were India, our people would have bargained with Microsoft to give reservations for certain castes and minorities and even to create two CEO posts one for normal and other for reserved candidates. Anyways, his wisdom and daring to leave to US at right time and of course his motivation, merit has paid rich dividends.

reservation is cancer in india it has started 50 yrs back,brahamins and non brahamins, brahamins are white people other people are black,slow by slow racisams started against white color, hence dravidian party started anti north, anti brahmin, anti hindu, this all done by political party of TN, Mostly DK, then DMK, since for their selfish goal to reach power, brahamins had become scapegoat,since they will not fight, or they do not know how to use weapons,then they introduce reservation to isololate brahanins,the funny point of TN, Brahamins, and vysias are forward caste, balance all the caste divisions comes under BC,THIS IS A KIND OF ISOLOTING BRAHAMINS,FUNNY POINT NAIDUS ARE CLASSIFIES AS TAMILS IN TN,UNDER BC GROUP, THAT TO RICH KAMMA NAIDU.TELUGUS ARE VERY HAPPY OF BRAHAMIN,NON BRAHAMIN DIVIDION SINCE THEY CAN SURVIVE, no tamil-telugu fight.now this cancer is going all states,hence educated people are flying

you should be given bhart rathna instead of sachin, who amazed wealth.but do not take only telugu people for jobs in microsoft, it is a tendency of telugu people, once he is HR Manager, entire batch will be manavadlu that is telugu, give equal oppurtunity to all.
