The Bullet train project will not become a reality in India in the near future because India shows no political will to implement these multi-billion dollar projects.......
Projects like Posco Steel, Mittal Steel, 1000 km of Expressways, Coal-to-Liquid Project, Kalpasar dam etc... are unable to move ahead because of lack of political will and selfish opposition.....
It is time both government and the opposition wake up and see how the great nation China executes mega-projects with efficiently and on time.....
Rs 63,000-crore for 547 km? This amount can totally revamp existing railway infrastructure in areas such as cleanliness, high speed, punctuality, safety, etc.
It is stupid_to go for bullet train without improving the condition of basic railway system.Japan,China all went for bullet train only after they totally improved conventional railway services.
Farting_is useless unless we make our basics strong.
Kanchikode (palghat, Kerala) coach factory sanctioned nearly five years back, still no work started, new coach factory Kachapara is shaping , then what is the status of Palghat coach factory
Dear Mr. Prabhu, you are talking about Bullet Train. Why dont you stop this Bulshit. See the condition of Long Distance Trains especially, Rajdhani Trains - None of these trains have proper facilities and hygenic conditions. On 3rd Deember, I have travelled by Trivandrum -Nizamuddin Train - There was no water in the Train, Flush were not working, Blankets has not washed since March, 2014.After payingthrough the nose, this is the condition of the Train. At any given time, there are no Tickets available and the last option is Tatkal and pay more. When you get into the train there are so many vacant seats.

Absolutely, this is the case everywhere in the world. There are only one or two such railway systems in the world that make profit from bullet trains. It will be financial burden for both private and govt.
