Law is a mockery
by Ramakrishna UR on Dec 06, 2014 06:34 PM

In India, all big fish with political connections finally escape laws and go scot-free. You can cheat banks crores of rupees, nothing will happen. The law will take its own course and eventually the person will be dead when justice is read! What happened to stock broker Harshad Mehta? Mallya can sell his shares in United spirits and pay off the debts, but why he is not doing? He has time and money to dance in IPL parties but no money to pay his employers?

He deserves to be behind bars

Mallys deserves to be behind bars. The Ministry of Corporate affairs in India is a joke. They shield companies who do not pay salaries, let alone Professional Tax and PF. Non payment of salaries is a Criminal offence and such people should be behind bars.

Period.

The Banks should also be hauled up for giving so much of loan without adequate collateral. Many politicians have looted Bank money during the previous Congress regimes and not a single person has been sent behind bars. All loans above a certain amount should be disclosed in the Annual Accounts of Banks.
