Modi's Govt in office for 100 days
by srirama chandra rao on Aug 27, 2014 12:08 PM  | Hide replies

Yes there are no major reforms announced yet. But in general the approach has been positive and Govt is continuing some of the policies of UPA. The issue is policies as such may be good but what we are facing is lacuna in the implementation and the results are not reaching to the common man. Modi's thought process is straight and the concern he is expressing to the real problems affecting the country's growth is appreciable. Let the Govt concretise its plans to do some thing solid in the next few months as initial understanding of the problems and issues is reached

Modi government's top priority should be Police Reforms
by mihir bhaumik on Aug 27, 2014 12:08 PM  | Hide replies

NDA govt has made a good beginning - their efforts to bring in reforms in financial and judicial field are laudable. But Mr Modi will really make an impact on governance if he takes up Police Reforms immediately - it will solve many social issues in our country. Alongwith that, a massive recruitment drive is required to fill all posts of Officers and personnel in Police all over the country, or else how tourists can feel safe to come here since our law and order situation has sent some negative message already?

Modi is nort a reformist
by pradeep agarwal on Aug 27, 2014 12:02 PM  | Hide replies

He is more of a administrator than reformer. His track record in Gujarat shows nothing as great economic reforms. It is his ability to plan & get things done that makes him different from others. He is personally an honest person, however, has never shown much interest in curbing or punishing people with corrupt track record in Gujarat which has very high corruption in government.

Why did you not expect ACCHE DIN in Cocress ruling for time of 60 years.Modi need 10 years to make correction of big mistakes happened during congress rule. Now you are expecting lot from Modi in a short tenure.Change your mentality and think about reality.Modi does not have a magic stick to meet your requirement.
