This guy was honest when he always claimed that prices would reduce within "3 months". He was "honest" as he never ever claimed when those 3 months would start. Now probably it would start effective 16.05.2014 when this Govt along with all its "experts" would get thrown out.

Considering that Montek was an important person in the UPA's Finance/Economic thinking, it is not surprising that he is talking about distrust arising out of Politicians Businessmen nexus alone. He has not said anything about the huge corruption involved at all levels of the Govt.

Ahluwalia is correct
by Varadarajan Ravindran on Apr 21, 2014 02:50 AM

Montek Singh Ahluwahlia is correct is his overall assessment. The people do not trust the government because it is led by the Congress Party of Sonia Gandhi, a protege of the Indra Gandhi type of incompetence. People will automatically trust the government when Narendra Modi becomes the prime minister leading the Baharatiya Janata Party to victory. The Nehru successors in the Congress party were all useless leaders who never executed any project properly to fruition.
