The main reason for the sorry state of affairs in this field is customer ignorance and political support to bogus production units. How many of these manufacturers have full compliance to GMP requirements? Authorities must review this situation. Many production units still have Asbestos roof, though it is against WHO guidelines. How many are following validation tests true to the letter and spirit?

Only politically connected companies are making substandard drugs Many US firms are banned by FDA,closed down frequently In US,you can close or open a firm very easily both are difficult in India
