Normally MMS is mum, being popularly known as "Man Maun Singh". MMS is aggressive in the interest of US only. At first he was vocal during nuclear bill passing in 2008, then he was vocal during "FDI in retail" bill passing now he is said to b pushing for agreement of buying nuclear power plant, with a provision that in case of accident, the supplier does not have any financial responsibility

He adopted dubious methods in passing both the above bills. In first case there was lot of unprecedented horse trading & use of other means like threat of "parrot" CBI, ED etc. In the second case though majority of MPs were against the bill, but the FDI bill was passed by using the threat of CBI against Mayawati & Mulayam
