U.S economy benefits the most from Indian software services

U.S economy benefits the most from Indian software services. Jack Welch too has approved of this.

Indian software companies bring good value work at cheap costs and hence ensure efficient performance of the companies that use their labour.

This is the same thing which is being done with the Chinese in the manufacturing sector where most hardware services are outsourced to the Chinese to keep costs viable and affordable.

you are right but it is also true that Indian or Indo American companies did lots of wrong doings in earning dollars. They sent unqualified or under qualified people by faking the information to get L1 or H1. Most of these companies are solely dependent on the dollar and NOT Indian rupee. All these big figures are because they earn in dollars and by default all these companies are experts in using loopholes to sneak people into the US. Once their dollar earning is less, they all will be nowhere. US is tightening things up because of these abuses in the past, Satyam is a very good example and so does TCS. TCS use to even take their employees tax refunds back to their own account, these are mean companies making money on the expense of good employees. Most of these companies are cheaters. They made money or making money by misusing there employee's conditions. These companies should be banned from sending people to US because that's how they grew so big today. By doing wrong things and using loopholes, or I will rather say using the generosity of US laws.

You think Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean companies do not commit the same abuses.

Well they may ... but that does not exempt India and Indian companies. I agree generally, that in this day and time where competencies matter, Indians have faired well simply because of their hard work, their sense of inquisitiveness to learn and due to a less than affordable lifestyles - middle class - back in India. But, something strange happens to these same people when they get to the USA. More strange things follow after their GC and extremely strange things happen after obtaining USA citizenship. They go about living in the USA, messing it up just like how they would back in India! Appalling! Most parts of Indian dominated New Jersey (Edison) for instance no longer looks and smells USA. Air whiffs of the Indian masala, with back-up sirens installed on cars which at dead of night make the same silly noises as we experience in India. Until 1947, it was the time of the rest of the world to plunder India - now it is the turn of Indians to plunder the world with their cheap theatrics. Dont blame the USA senators for this stance; blame yourself for a lousy behavior that gets seeded in India.

You are completely out of your mind. Eurpoean immigrants even use marriage to Americans to get green cards in larger propertion than Indians. On top of it, Europeans play their Caucasian race card and get ahead after getting their green cards and citizenships, very often without doing any work. It is a general phenomenon that immigrants do less and less work as their immigration position in America improves. You should be be deceiving yourself and others if you do not admit it.

Just accept the fact that Indians are doing well (money-wise). they are the richest ethinic group in the US which difficult digest by others and understandbly so..!

Indian and Indian-American IT businesses are NOT being scapegoated for abuse of the visa programme!

They are 10000% guilty of abusing this visa category!

They bring in cheap white collar labor from India to destroy high paying US jobs which the US economy needs right now to come out of its prolonged recession!

IT jobs are the best paying jobs in the US which allow the holders of these jobs to have and spend the disposable income!

This expenditure contributes to the US economy.

With both well paying IT and non-IT jobs destroyed by Indian IT companies, US economy cannot come out of the prolonged recession and has created economic woes all over the world!

In short, Indian IT companies are 10000% guilty of abusing this visa category and damaging the world economy!
