Congress Party should stop calling it the 'Food Security bill'!

This bill for all intents and purposes, should be called 'Congress Party's stick-to-power security bill'!

This bill is nothing but mass corruption at its worse!

This is the Congress Party government BRIBING the poor voters with cheap food in a high inflationary environment Congress Party is itself responsible for creating through its short sighted policies and incompetence!

Why is nobody seeing this bill for what it actually is!

Congress Party government has no other solution to the problems of the economy but to rob the tax payer to pay the poor!

The Food Security Bill will do more harm than good to the country . Improving the economic condition of the poorer section so that their purchasing capacity is increased should be given more priority. Instead of spending a huge chunk of money in providing subsidy, alternative plan could have been taken for economic empowerment .

CRITIC's FIGURES ARE RIGHT!

Sreenivas Jain's logic is fallacious.

It is not

Post FSB Outlay-Pre FSB Outlay (by Govt)

It is

Post FSB DELIVERY-Pre FSB DELIVERY (at citizen)

The first equation's difference is not equal to the second equation's difference, though technically it should be.

Given that Rajeev Gandhi who notoriously had said that only 15% of Govt outlays reach the people intended, now the Govt has to procure from overseas 85% of food grains if the same level of leakages happen.

If a citizen complains that he didnt receive his quota, then the Govt has to buy from the marker or import from overseas at its cost and deliver those rice or wheat to the citizen and that is a huge difference.
