Who killed Air India?.........Facts.
by SUDHIR PARASHER on Aug 06, 2014 10:33 PM  | Hide replies

Politicians, Pilots and Air India employees killed Air India. All of them had nothing to loose because Indian Tax payers were /are supporting the company. Politicians wanted free tickets and Pilots/employees of Air India were/are enjoying the pay and other benefits. They were not interested that Air India should be run professionally. These are the ways of Politicians and vested interest people/employees that common Indian has suffered in the past 65 years. This is happening in all departments of Indian government. This does not happen in the developed countries that is why those countries are way ahead of our country.

No body killed nor hijecked AIR INDIA. If any one is responsible or blamed for AIR INDIA's down fall, it is ONLY Air India empolyees.
I have stop travelling by Air Indian about 20 years before after one incident which is typical. There was an issue with regards to hand baggage which happen with my parents. My mother was on wheel chair while my father was carrying hand bag which was about 10 kg. The Air India guy stop them before going for their immigration. objection about hand bag weight is above permitted limit. I tried to explain that they are two passenage according they can carry 14kg (7 kg ecah) but since my mother is on wheel chair my father has the bag and that too within permitted limit. This guy was not ready to listen. he was forcing us either to make two bag or remove excess weight from the bag. Even the airport security guy tried to reason with him.His reply i still remember " No i would allow on MY AIRLINE" finally i took that hand bag back ir ticket counter and ask them to put as my baggage paying the charges for the additional weight. That day i knew this air line will surly drown. Frankly sppeaking I am happy to know what is happening with air Indian.

Dear author, good attempt to high light apathies of a national carrier. But who will bell the cat. The issue seems to be so complex, one would take ages to unearth the entire truth. Given the credentials of our agencies like CBI, CVC and others one is not sure about a fair investigation. Such incidents create a deep anguish and a desire to fight against the people who are still living with colonial mind set. If you take all the corruption cases at higher levels into account, initial attempts by the establishment to deny and hide the facts and the tardy speed of investigation one wonders whether the we are following the correct system. Are we heading towards another revolution.
