The traders, individuals who have applied and obtained PAN are very less in number. They quote their PAN whereever it is necessary. However, the govt people, Income Tax People are chasing these people only and not the one who does not have PAN. There are so many traders and persons who proudly say that they do not have PAN and Govt / IT people are having no guts to touch them. Then what the use of having PAN? It puts you in net of the Income Tax Department. The traders / persons who do not have PAN prefer to have only cash transaction.
