Not Really True. Our Elite as you mentioned Big B also gives to the society. On his b'day he inagurated a scheme by TRUST Harevansh Rai Trust which will provide electricity to 3000 Rural Houses. Same way Amabni also does. But they are not in Media Glare. Our Guys do charity in rupees and they do in dollars so also looks bigger. We have a concept called GUPT DAN. Our guys do this. They dont do for name and fame.
Except providing subsidies i.e. too full of corruption, what govt. has done for poors, still their number have gone more than 80 crore, we were only 35 crore in 1950. Majority of budget is spent to pay salary, perqs. and retiral of govt. servants which is Maharaja like, even distribution or employment at minimum wages to at least one member in a family has never been undertaken.

It is the primary objective of the government in Socialist countries like India to increase the number of poor so as to increase the number of dependents on the government which in turn emboldens the need to have an even bigger government!
Socialist governments in countries like India which are run by dynastic p1mps and looters are the biggest baddest ideas ever!
Socialism should only be practiced in countries where there is 100% literacy and the entire population is ethical and financially responsible!
