In few years this can be shifted to some garden with steps smoothed so as to use it as a playground slide, such is the public.

Do you plan to hold a meeting on the stairs, then? Or a conference? BS. They can erect it ONLY wide enough as the existing platform space may allow. Do you expect them to build new platforms as well?

It's that someone's problem; why blame the authorities? They've done their bit, reservations aside. It's not that authorities are always insensitive; even the people are to blame. Just think how many bridges railways builds & how many announcements keep running on their PA saying, "Use foot over bridge, track crossing is fatal." Still people take that short-cut run across the tracks & lose lives (then keep cursing Railways.) Not only here but on the Roads or Highways as well.

All this escalator will do is give perverts more time to grope girls!

Public transportation in Mumbai is a pervert's paradise!

Times Of India published an article few months back detailing the h3llish nightmare women commuters have to endure when they travel on public buses and local trains!
