why should Doctors get over excited by unaudited reports

Do Doctors understand Quality of finished dosages ,e.g the pharmocopeia says purity not less than 95% ,do they ever find out what the balance 5%impurity is ,it is this attribute which the branded drugs look into & ensure what solvent is used in washing ,the ppm level or resdual level in the finished product ,the individual impurity not to be greater than say .05% etc ,the excepient ,starch stearates ,lubricating agent talc etc are parma grade ,even the equipment is propery validated ,weight variation is not there ,the packaging films ,foils are standard ,the batch coding ink ,the carton ,shipper, bopp tapes etc are also ensured for quality ,All branded medicines are process, controlled, quality controlled ,system controlled, with best people who are learner, knowers ,engaged, involved for health for consumers & profit for shareholders & not merchants of ruthless ambition ,the decission by high end hospitalls to review,& reject a brand for some vibhishans over smartness is not the right direction of hospital prescribers who have not seen even a tablet formulation or API production by brands

Doctors should not prescribe brand names
by Lone Lynx on May 29, 2013 09:08 AM  | Hide replies

Why should doctors Prescribe brand names of drugs, when an equivalent generic of comparable quality is available. 95% of the doctors have ad financial relationships with drug companies and accept gift in turn for prescribing their costly medicines, when equivalent generic of comparable quality is available is available to the pateint at a much lower price..
