When UPA took over, the economy was growing at a healthy 8-9%..

SONIA GOT THE IDEA TO PLAY ROBIN HOOD AND GIVE MONEY TO THE POOR
AS SHE WANTED "INCLUSIVE GROWTH"

Money was doled out to the poor in schemes like NREGA , Direct cash transfers and Farm loan waivers
this led to them spending that money on food etc which led to high inflation .

RBI Saw high inflation as a risk and started inreasing interst rates .

The Interest rates were increased so fast and so high that it destroyed the growth in the econmomy .

So now we are left with low growth and high inflation and a

huge rural population NOT willing TO WORK AND LOOKING FOR FREEBEES FROM THE SYSTEM

Last qarter the economy has just grown by 4.5 %

RBI'S POLICY
by sudhanshu panda on Mar 29, 2013 11:09 AM  | Hide replies

I think RBI has done an wonderful job despite several constraints and pressures from all vested interests. What does Bhalla and other such persons want?Just make interest rates down as per their liking and writeoff all loans so that the domestic banks will be ruined and the so called stock brokers,agriculturists/netas,industrialists will heave a sigh of relief and be prepared for next scandals. It was due to RBI that Indian economy could withstand the global recession to a much higher extent.Otherwise we would have seen an europe like situation. With a profligate Govt. which only knows "notes for votes"policy having visionless politicians India would have stared at 1-2%growth.

The defacto owner of Vasan Eye Care, the owner of several hundred acres of land in Coorg and Munar, the architect of all corruption and scam but still not being caught - THE GREATEST LUNGIWALA MUST BE GREETED FOR PUSHING INDIA TO CRISIS LEVEL.

UNLESS THE SPECTACLED MACAQUE IS SLAPPED FROM HEAD TO FOOT AND HIS WEALTH (INCLUDING BENAMI) CONFISCATED NOTHING GOOD WILL ACCRUE TO THE COUNTRY.

WHEN SONIA WANTS LAKHS OF CRORES TO BUY VOTES , WHO HAS TO PAY ?
by Dheeraj Jain on Mar 29, 2013 11:04 AM  | Hide replies

Instead of spending money on roads , Education, and Power ,
UPA has been wasting nations resources on these vote catching schemes

Free Loans ..Farm Loan waiver ..80,000 crore
Free Jobs .. NREGA .. 50,000 crore /year
Free food.. Food security bill . 2 lakh crore /year
Free Money.. Direct Cash Transfer .. ? lakh crore /year

All these schemes for Congress to get votes is to be paid by Middle class , through .

Higher Taxes , Higher Interest rates , and Higher Fuel/power prices ..

As more money is doled out, FOC in the economy , it leads to high inflation as well.

All these schemes only means more scams by netas and babus
and more money moving to swiss bank accounts

experiment
by arahaman on Mar 29, 2013 11:00 AM

there is always speculation of impact of change of interest rate on growth and inflation. we may think about different interest rate state wise, it is justified too every state has its own weakness and strength in terms of economy.for simplification we may consider group of state. i know it will be very much debatable as it is not practiced yet, different interest rate on same country. but if we survive with different fuel price and gold price then why it is possible atleast for experiment perpose.
