Great! We Indians will laud our achivements like this only. When English used steam to run an engine we are proud to have used steam to make IDLIES!!! Of course they invent to improve and we do it to live!
This is nothing..using bare hands our poor illiterate chop sticks dug a tunnel right under India's top Prison almost 2 Kms in record time which could transport 8 people in with sufficient supplies day in and out...shortly a camel also could easily walk inside from Gaza strip...
Mumbai must have underground Metro Rail. Chennai Metro is now going for under ground metro rail from Washermanpet to Chennai Central ... approx. 6 Kms.. then why cant in Mumbai ? And further I have heard that these underground/tunnels are going to be constructed by INDIAN Construction Company... So, Proud to be an Indian... and start constructing such tunnels in Mumbai also for Mumbai Metro

Mumbai Metro should have open doors as in Mumbai local trains so that it can accommodate more passengers and facilitate faster movement of commuters

I doubt very much, Mumbai will ever have a Metro. Mumbai is built on reclaimed land and sinks, It is prone to heavy flooding due to its geographical position.
