Britishers gave India its massive rail network, aviation network, road network. Without British, there would have been no airports in India. If British had stayed just 20 more years, there would have been metro in all cities. After 1947, we only got delhi metro because Govt never had enough funds.

Mr. R. Gupta, everything you have stated is correct but for the last segment of the last sentence-Govt never had enough funds-It should read-Govt had no funds for citizens but had plenty of money to be stacked in Swiss banks.

No Airport means .PEACE . Pray but what are the reasons! Surely not backwardness.Is the reason strategic or economic or geographical .Worth research !!

Kerala has three international airports which account for a majority of the money coming into Air India, yet Congress government at the center do everything possible to make life miserable to Kerala travellers...like suddenly cutting the number of flights, discontinuing profitable flights from these airports, and diverting those planes to loss making routes favored by duffer aviation minister.

Is the poor state of KSRTC is also due to the congress government at the centre?
This is price Keralites have to pay for being dependant on other states for job,civil supplies etc etc.

yep.. it's correct.. i was there couple of months back.. its like a small country within the city of Rome. Vatican City has a rough estimate of 800 people.

That works for tiny harriers with one pilot or two pilots in case of trainer version of harriers. That wont work for a huge passenger plane that weigh over 1000 times more than a tiny Harrier. Even harriers avoid vertical take off and landing unless absolutely necessary, because of the huge loss of fuel that vertical take off and landing calls for. Why do you think that catapult are used in modern aircraft carriers instead of vertical take off and landing?
