TATA's vehicles are value for money.(Of course there are niggles with them)But the auto mags and sites often highlights TATAs negatives only.May be bcos TATAs dont bribe them. Then there are some WESTophiles who feel empowered by bashing Inidan companies.TATA cars are really worth the money you pay .
IMO they should focus on the quality of the features rather than the number of features in their vehicles.
One reason why TATA trucks are selling better may be that majority of their buyers dont read biased magazines and reviews.

what rubbish ... I would prefer to buy an Indian product but have you seen the rubber and plastic quality inside an Indica or Vista? It sucks when you compare with Figo, I20 or Micra. Also, TATA lost the case when they priced Aria at 15 lac.

May be true. But one thing is sure. The so called useless national feeling leaders move around with foreign brands and say 'Be Indian buy India'to others.
The politicians and so called nationalist feeling individuals should promote Tata Motor vehicles. Many countries are doing this. When TATA Manza is a good car why it is not promoted as Taxi for registration and ban other foreign models. Germany does this. You find Merc, BMW, Folkswagon as taxis and they are proud of their products. We are proud of using foreign vehicles at the cost of Indian industries.
A nation full of playing double standards. Talk of Nation First for others and my choice first for my purchases. HMT watches were very good but it was made to die by politicians.
Ambassador cars were promoted by government machinery which was a good gesture. Indian cars are not bad if not extremely good but they can not bribe the politicians for promotion.
