Evaluate benefit !!!
by Swatantra Jananayaga on Mar 05, 2013 11:10 AM  | Hide replies

"Since 1996, ... largest and most prestigious India-focused BUSINESS conferences that provide a platform for leaders to discuss the opportunities present in India and the challenges need to be addressed."

Business conference - First a STRICT cost benefit analysis needs to be made of the earlier visits of Dr APJ; PC; Varun Gandhi and Anil Ambani to know what benefits accrued to INDIA following their lectures vis a vis the 'opportunities and challenges' including in terms of prestige.

Simple platitudes like the lectures were 'well received'; 'well appreciated'; 'kindled the thought process of the audience'; 'enthralled the audience'; 'provided an inspiration to the listeners'; 'forsee a better coordinated attempt at mutual benefit'; 'improved relations between desis and videsis'; 'will initiate frequent exchange visits of business personnel'; 'opportunity to learn best practices' - will not help.

Waste of time
by Shyam Sunder on Mar 05, 2013 10:43 AM

Media is very good in wasting all useful time in some petty nonsense issue. When SRK went through physical checking, it is a news. When some students body cancels invite to a reigning CM, it is a news. This problem is purely due to too many news channels without much news.

Really, what our leaders to address a foreign soil on the opportunities? None of the attendees really bothers about real growth or development of India, but how to make profits.. so, nothing big to cry on these events.. Since India is a big market, not it is getting focussed.. we should just ignore these schools but develop our entrepreneurship character of youths.. will do wonders than this pseudo pride of these institutes.. & if you look at who are all the past speakers and what is the result, you know on these jokes..
