The Govt is at its wit's end. By overlooking hazardous constructions in the area exposed to natures fury- google and see for your self the 3D and video etc put up by Isro and blow by blow account of Kedarnath disaster, it has become a perpetrator of mass homicide on an unprecedented scale. It is behaving like an Ostrich. It has no where to hide as the consequences will haunt it for a long time when its revenue dry up. No body is bothered about the dead and traumatized pilgrims and ordinary citizens. As if they died dogs death en-mass. No mourning, no compensation, no commemoration of the disaster day- not even a list and mention. Why one wonders when the Maharashtra CM could have the list of its citizens on the yatra and from this you can always deduct the number of those who return to arrive at the figure of the dead, why can't all the states and more importantly center could do it. It is making a mockery of the NPR ad so intensively being televised. Here is superpower which does not know or does not want to the number of its citizens - the aam admi dying the most horrendous death en-mass. But people are watching and listening and feeling the pain. So forget tourism- honeymoon or pilgrimage. What are you going to do - beg for your day to day expenses?

Get your maths right. Swiss money is swelling in rupee terms by the hour. So those Indians who have Swiss a/cs( any where)are reaping a unexpected windfall- unless they had themselves planned it meticulously.
