Nasscom concerned over curbs in US Immigration Bill

There is nothing discriminatory in this bill!

If you abuse and misuse a provision in the law of a foreign country, you should be prepared for a backlash sooner or later!

India's I T industry has been abusing and misusing the H1-B visa for that last 10 - 15 years with impunity!

It should have anticipated this consequence to its irresponsible behavior!

Its best chance for a solution to this issue is to lobby for a provision in the business visitor 'B' visa category which would allow its employees to stay and work in the US longer with a condition that they will return before the visa expires.

After all, what the Indian I T industry does is rotate its employees between India and the US.

Why does it need the H1-B visa to do this?
