China follows the olden days East Indian Company policy of importing RAW materials and exporting FINISHED goods at cheaper rate using automation or bulk-production
Almost all the leading brands of Electronic / Computer peripherals are manufactured and getting imported from China, so it is hard to leave away with Chinese products
I guess, The direct China import will be less compare with the Indirect imports - China product import through leading brands - China has build many store(Go-downs) and forwarding ports across many of India's neighboring countries, so Indirect import through middleman agency from those country is quiet easy which cannot be tracked and stopped so easily
Govt should totally ban import of those commodities/items which are freely available in India, Just ban on China import alone will open-up back door entries
Alternatively, India should promote trade relation with ASEAN countries to promote healthy competition and contain Chinese uni-lateral monopoly trade actions for a bi-lateral win-win strategy
TILL OUR POLITICAL LEADERSHIP AND BUSINESSMEN COME TO TURN WITH THIS REALITY, CHINA MUST HAVE NEARLY WIPED OUT MOST OF OUR MME/SME AND LEAD TO HUGE UNEMPLOYMENT AND POVERTY IN OUR COUNTRY.
MOREOVER THE DOLLAR WE PAY FOR IMPORT OF CHEAP AND SUB-STANDARD CHINESE GOODS WILL FURTHER PUSH OUR CURRENT ACCOUNT DEFECIT. ALSO THE CHINESE WILL FURTHER DEVELOP WEPONS OF MASS DISTRUCTION AND WILL DIRECT THE SAME AGAINST INDIA AND BULLY US FURTHER.
