Late Smt.Indira Gandhi's nationalisation of 14 major private banks on 14.07.1969 and another six on 20.04.1980 was a very wise decision due to which we could see agriculturists, artisans, bonded labourers, small businessmen etc. etc. getting loans at affordable interest rates.
Whereas, the new generation banks would never lend a helping hand to the under priviliged citizen and needy with small means.
