Clopidogrel 75 mg & Aspirin 150 mg is available for Rs 3.3 a tablet now ( Best brands from the best pharmaceutical companies ) How has the author come up with the price of Rs 88.77 A TABLET ?? Which company sells it at that price . Can some Pharmaceutical field person clarify my doubt ?? The reduction/fall in price should therefore be only about Re 1 to 1.50 per tablet. Anyone can explain ??

It is like this: Clopidogrel costs the equivalent of 88.77 Rs in the West but costs less than 3 Rs in India. They have mixed up the figures for the West with that for India.

BTW, drug prices are cheapest in the World.

All these years drug industries, mostly owned by International companies made a Kill by pricing the drugs exorbitantly. It is time to have some control over them to ensure that they do not kill the patients too!
