Can't understand............just because they were billing in $$ per hour - high by Indian Standards and considered 'cost effective' by the overseas client................why the Indian Companies chose to pay - very very high packages to mere freshers, most remaining in 'bench' for a long long time and then doing 'routine' or 'lowest level' of IT related work.............Only the IT/ ITES indian companies can explain...............
This is a serious wakeup call for chronic underperformers. So far underperformers were shadowed under the achievements of the better performers. Now the companies are getting serious on personal performance evaluation. i know of a couple of people who were asked to leave their jobs for lack of performance
