SONIA GOT THE IDEA TO PLAY ROBIN HOOD AND GIVE MONEY TO THE POOR AS SHE WANTED "INCLUSIVE GROWTH"
Money was doled out to the poor in schemes like NREGA , Direct cash transfers and Farm loan waivers this led to them spending that money on food etc which led to high inflation .
RBI Saw high inflation as a risk and started inreasing interst rates .
The Interest rates were increased so fast and so high that it destroyed the growth in the econmomy .
So now we are left with low growth and high inflation and a
huge rural population NOT willing TO WORK AND LOOKING FOR FREEBEES FROM THE SYSTEM
Why GDP is going down but the real estate prices are going up everday even in this difficult environment? FM has faild to take strong steps to curp balck money in the reals estate sector, which drives the prices to sky high. PAN should be made mandatory for all real estate transaction and TDS should be deductedfor sellers for all transactions exeeding 20 lakhs instead of 50 lakhs. Set up special income tax monitoring cell in all cities to monitor all real estate transactions.
I am still trying to figure out which were the spending cuts? Chida was all gaga about it. Am I hearing the right things - net GDP growth (11 pc ) and net spending growth = 16 pc. It does not add up at all. Talking about fiscal consolidation - does Dinesh Trivedi want the whole of Indian become West Bengal? Spend big on infrastructure, spend big on health , spend big on this, spend big on that. As an astute man he should know where all that money goes - they all go into thin air. Unfathomable fiscal policy!
If Chida was even a little serious about fiscal deficit he would cut down the babudom.
500 grams gold is sufficient for ornaments and more than this may be categorized as black money. Many rich people keep black money in the form of gold. So, there should be limited of gold for each family. ASHOK
