you are not aware that all the taxes mentioned are central takes and not state levies. Only the centre has the power to abolish them.

how it will work...
by Ramesh on Dec 12, 2013 07:00 PM

Business turnover Rs. 1 crore but showing loss in the book there is tax but if this will be implemented it will be taxed Rs.1.5 lakhs (E.g;1.5% transaction tax). think even 1000 crore companies also showing loss and not paid income tax. sure it will help the nation to avoid the block money and develop the nation

Good idea.....
by Ramesh on Dec 12, 2013 06:51 PM  | Hide replies

1.Transaction tax have to be implement 2.abolish the 50,100,500 and 1000 rupee notes 3. all the people who have the 50,100,500 and 1000 rupee notes should be deposit in to the bank with in the cutoff time (this leads to all block moneys should come out) 4. All the people should have the bank account 5. Restrict the bank cash withdrawal (should not bank withdraw more than Rs.2000 per day at any mode) 6. Cash transaction more than Rs.2000 is illegal

this will workout in this way.

Idea is good.
by mahesh muliyala on Dec 12, 2013 05:02 PM

If they intorduce transcation tax, sure they will collect more money than today 14lakh cores.
any thing is how govt recognize every transaction is an issue.may be they thave to ban even 100 and 50 ruppe notes.
Idea is good.sure govt will get more fund also.
Now see there is no long term capital again tax for share trading and govt is collecting more money by way of transaction tax.

abolish taxes
by KARAN on Dec 12, 2013 01:43 PM  | Hide replies

While it is a good idea to abolish income tax, sales tax&excise there should be a very very stringent law for FLIGHT OF THE CAPITAL FROM INDIA.Only if we make the punishment through a very very fast track court &punish the guilty exemplarily for taking away the money from India. If this is not put in place all the money will go away making money very cheap making the common man suffer.

If BJP makes this as their election manifesto they can match AAP.

Correct idea. Ban 500 and 1000 notes i.e. Fake currency from Pak.
by abhi on Dec 12, 2013 01:23 PM  | Hide replies

Correct idea. Ban 500 and 1000 notes i.e. Fake currency from Pak.
More than 25% of currency is fake and from Pak.
So for large transaction ppl will use cheq and card and Pak's plan to demolish Indian economy will fail. BJP will save our country.
Why cant we get this election formality down in 2013. Why give more time to this khachchar kagress.

Deficit= net savings , will balance.
by partha Shakkottai on Dec 12, 2013 10:56 AM

There is no need for taxes. Only deficits are required to balance net savings. It eliminates the tax collection beurocracy which is good.Deficits can be increased in step with deficits or play a game of catch up with deficits going up first and let savings catch up or the the other way around.
Infrastructure can start the process. DEFICIT fund everything with a hefty deficit for start.

chidambaram is the REAL downfall of congress. if they had any sense of anger of middle and lower classes they would have booted this butcher long time back but now they can only introspect

at a time of galloping inflation this worthy thought nothing of imposing further taxes on the suffering masses. now pay the price and hope BJP learns some lessons from such insensitivity

The same IDIOTIC PC is now being touted as one of the PM candidates by the UPA. Shame on us and its high time that we the PEOPLE do the "shudhikalash". If I am not wrong in the last election PC had a mere 2 vote majority that too by virtue of a recounting.
