The place is basically investor's haven, wherein everyone invested and no one lives. So it is ghost town.
Same is happening in places like Boisar in Thane, Pune City, Talegaon, Hyderabad and outskirts of Bangalore. Most properties are termed as Sold but no one lives there.
Its an irony in India that, there are great number of people wanting to buy a decent house, but nothing is available. Instead all flats are in lock and key in investors' hands waiting for prices to appreciate and touch the sky

so the chinese are supposed to only built structures in China after verifying what the Brits joke about those structures?
Who gives a rat's behind to what the Brits have to think or joke about anything?
totalling some 630 square metres floor space in this so-called ”ghost“ city。It is just 70 mins away from Shanghai by HSR and taxi。The value of the proerties has since gone up some 30%。It's better than putting money in savings accounts。

Bought 10 flats and one villa in Shanghai 12 years ago,now worth 10 times the purchase prices。 Also bought properties in Beijing、Shenzhen、Sanya(Hainan Island)、Qingdao、Dalian and Suzhou。The mortgages are 1/20 of the value of properties。This is true for almost all Chinese who bought their real estates 10 years ago。Those who bought relatively recently,i.e. 3-5 years ago, have their properties valued at about 3 times the mortgage。Also a large chunk of the properties are bought cash in China。
