Big malls are very interesting place to shop around (at least window shopping) but I wonder how many people really do shop in big malls. Yes, some shops, i.e. supermarkets do brisk business but many other shops hardly have any customers. I wonder how they manage to pay rent and salary with the kind of patronage they get? May be there is some trick I don't understand!yZDZ
what a mall in a suburb does is it makes people shop and have social hub in that suburb itself rather than go to central city . no doubt if you are in a suburb you dont want to travel many kms just to do shopping and have coffee. with right kind of mall, a suburbs value jumps up

Perhaps u need learn to read first asking others write first. South Indians and malayalis in particular are not boastful and noisy like the typiccal north indians
Very nice to see the Indian Malls. Here in Dubai and Abudhabi also has got lots of Big malls. Mostly malls are very cute and well Architecture and Interior design oriented ones. Now I am also very happy in engaging in a Construction of Yas Mall near Ferrari world, Abudhabi. But onething we can understand that we become addict to Mall culture like smoking. Manytime, I realise that it is very freedemic and pleasant one in selecting our needs right from small to high priced goods that too all are the genuines and branded. There is no place for duplicates.
