He has spoilt India with his advice now he will spoil the whole world. Worst was he was tryung to escape by blaming it all on others and last ditch effort saying that nothing is possible till 2014. An unpractical and bookish idiot.

don’t get emotional - Criticizing the poicy is good but personal insult is an absolute no-no. we Indians do not understand this subtle difference. Another things - those who are never respected in their life can never respect others. We all know you kind of the person of the world will never come within 100 miles of the intellect of Dr Bbasu. Even if Einstein would have been alive, these people would have their smarty pants comments in rediff. so just chill and "enjoy" the typical "mindset" of YUPPY Indians.

Nothing personal . But see the comment above yours ? :). That is the quality of people we have.

Kaushik Basu pretty much single handedly rescued India in 2009 when rest of the world sank in recession. Almost single handedly.

Sad. India made a retrospective strategy how it rescued itself from recession. It was sheer luck and not a planned strategy.I have followed this idiot during his tenure. He has come with one after the other idiotic suggestions like making bribe official which if we would have accepted would have drowned much earlier. Good riddance for India. and all those who says he is an intelligent man, if he himself cant stand for his decision no one can help him.

Intellectual either in isolation or not bringing value is useless for self and for others. Keeping good work at right time is important. Please accept this.
Think of many Indian movies which bags dozen of film fare awards, but debacle at box office. This applies to your basu.
