These useless people are worth nothing to any other nation, except for italy and swiss banks where the Indian money is drained to.
The cities in UAE and Oman will put Mumbai and Delhi to shame. Having lived and worked in UAE and Oman, I saw how fast the cities have become modern. The roads are clean, hospitals etc are all great. When I returned to Mumbai last year, I was amazed to see so many people using the streets for toilet. old habits die hard i guess.

Whose responsibility is it to build infrastructures for common men. Certainly the government, but their son-in-laws are busy making dlfs and other property from the money needed for poor men. nearly 70 years post independence and still low literacy rate, villages still deprived of electricity and water. With more than 98% of governance by congress in these 70 years, who else is responsible.

It is easy for UAE and Oman to manage their respective countries, as they are very small countries and not populated as India is. In spite of all problems, I would love to return to India (I am in Dubai) and am sure my stay will be as comfortable as it is in Dubai or Muscat.
1) Most of the labourers doing such dangerous menial work are from India who are exploited.
2) Our Government has sacrificed prime money making routes of Air India in favour of Emirates airline making Emirates the most profitable airline in Asia infact in the World. This money itself is being polled back into the construction biz. (IG). Rediff itself had posted how Emirates is the leading airline in India (of all places)
