Lot of money lost in scams. Nearly 250000 cores. Over and above government popular schemes such as MGNEERGA and subsidy on many issues which does not reach to common people. See NRHM. What happened.

The result would be that FDI in Retail in India would help China even more as their products are cheaper.

Thats why India is not shining (my old post to some other issue)

Congress: Use posters of Gandhi-Nehru on each occasion---my question is, in the current warprone situation will the "Ahinsa policy" work against enemy's like Pak and China while these are destructive nations carrying nuclear weapons and long range missiles.

BJP: So called party with difference not withstanding national priorities, for them PM candidate is more imp.

JD/ Leftist/Marxist/JDU: Not sure what is their natioanl stratagy other than giving support or taking it back when some issues are irrupted.

TMC/AIADMK/DMK/BJD/SS/MNS/NCP/NC in J&K/ Akali's in Punjab and all small regional parties: Enjoy 5 year assembly terms and be in the opposition for the next 5 yrs or give external support and keep fighing the verbal wars.

Celebraties: typically Page 3 people or Bolly-tolly wood crowd creating masala news all the time.

70% of Indian adult public: vote or do not vote, celebrate festivals, work in some offices or somehow complete 8 hours of work
, watch movies/ sports/ news/political gatherings/do shopping in malls/be part of Bandh's for reason or no reason/ Do nothing except be dependent on someone or pass the life as it goes means (eat/drink/sleep and all activities necessary to show existance of a person)

10% Indian intelectuals- try to improve system, fight war, understand national and gloabal issues, improve the national image globally/nationally.

2% people willingly or unwillingly become NRI

Will India have future? May be /May be not

You are absolutely right. The 10% Intellectuals also spend a lot of time on TV trying to impose their views on the public or some even probably are corrupt and give their views to suit someone else.

Anyone working hard for the Country will never get elected. All this just simply shows that form of Governance "selected" for India is totally flawed. It probably works in UK but was never meant to succeed in India. All credit for the chaotic situation must go to the "Architect of Modern India". The man whose policies are troubling in just around 60 years - be it division of India on linguistic basis or PSUs or Kashmir.

by Thrinadh vasantavada on Oct 01, 2012 10:28 AM

the political parties are only worried about their vote bank.they are least worried about the nation and its future.
the way they announce welfare schemes and its implimentation worries a sensible man. the money spent on so called welfare schemes are going in to the hands of politicians and their hench men. neither the targetted group nor the nation is benfitted.
people are loosing faith in democracy by the way the political parties are conducting themselves.

What is about Saanchin Scam. What exactly is it? And who are involved? appropriate investigation need to be made. It seems Congress and Rastravadi playing dirty game to divert attention to instability of government from the new scam where definitely both the parties are sure will have to pay heavy price even fall of government.

India should be coming out of age after 60 years of independence. But our leaders have made complete blunder of the economy. After 8 years the government comes with reforms to bailout a few industries. But it will be shortlived. Our leaders have got a myopic view. They have been laws in favour of the rich instead of bring out people out of miserable conditions. A day may will come when our country will be bad as African countries
