It has happened before and whole species have disappeared. So let it happen and go with the flow. Some more million years after we are gone some new species would appear. Some times I feel as if Earth is someones fish tank.
Why not control birth rate, rather it should come down. Somehow in India, our leaders are afraid of even to talk on this issue, therefore we have multiplied from 30 crore to 120 crore. Bravo to congress, BJP and others.

It is actually not our problem or the parties. It is because we started to blindly follow the western culture and we replaced spirituality with morality.
In original Indian society, 33% of the public across all the communities were completely on the spiritual path adopting brahmachariyam. There would be no offsprings from them.
The other people bore offsprings based on the lifestyle they had. For example, farmers had lots of offsprings just because agriculture was manual and having many kids worked well to keep a family self-sustained. If there were problems with the offsprings health, they were allowed to move on to take their next lives. You guys should be aware that one of the facts that Indian spiritualism is based on is that a being has multiple life-times until mukthi or enlightenment. When one sees that he is in the birth cycle several times and he has been at the same place many times, he would always try to move to the next step. He would drop all which is rubbish and adds baggage.
So, the population was well under control even before the independence.
Now, Religion has replaced Spiritualism and everyone wants everything like there is nothing further that this life, which is the basis of 'economy'.
