Back to Dark Ages
by partha sharma on Nov 16, 2012 03:19 PM

WestBengal can never be an Industrial state or a state of Entrepreneurship. The successive Govt.'s failure to protect Industry's need, which is common man's need as well - "Employment" and "Prosperity", is bringing back WestBengal to dark ages.

Why WestBengal needs so many Educational, Technical and management Institutions, when state Govt., is incapable of offering jobs to the passed out students due to their inefficiency.

impressive article
by Neuronics xyz on Nov 16, 2012 01:39 PM

I am impressed! Now the MaMatiManush party has the money and sense to put in paid articles in media to influence public opinion! Or, is the author one of the servile followers of Mamata hoping to get a plum ministerial or board position in return of supporting her? How convenient to completely gloss over the fact that the main reason the unrest is happening in Haldia is due to vested business interests of some TMC's ministers?

Is the moderator the TMC supremo herself? Or is it one of her servile followers? I can't seem to post anything that has even a remote criticism of her government!

Observation

If anyone chooses to write a single sentence against Ms. Mamata Banerjee, her stooges take it upon themselves to pile on to that person and attack him personally. Such is the mob mentality of her political supporters.

thank you for proving my point quite effectively. :)
only a trina"fool" can get into an argument without any thought or reason.
presumptuous statements, wild accusations, weird allegations, no sense. yep! all signs of a classic case of trina"fool"-itis.

Sumit, there is no point in trying to argue with people like Shamik. Being the bullbrained they are, they see the world in only two colors - red and green. If you even dare to slightly criticize their demigoddess, they will immediately label u a red. No criticism, only servile loyalty. Either you are with Didi or against her! There is no space for rational, oncstructive criticism or analysis.

So, isn;t that one of the reasons people had high hopes on this new government? And what has the government done so far other than destroy IT future with the new SEZ policy, kick out Tata from singur and now in Haldia, kill off the public transportation and similar stuff? Rather than an increase in investment, we are seeing total disillusionment in our dreams from this new government on every front - like many others who have the ability to think and reason independently, I am embarrassed that I voted for such an autocratic, whimsical, whining, visionless government!

Haldia
by Shamik C on Nov 16, 2012 01:03 PM  | Hide replies

Dipankar , please be breiefed .. Labour management is any corporates HR responsibility. It is not Govt's look out to oil that area. Whoever works in Haldia / any part of Bengal/ India, Corporate themselves has to do the work.

I think you being carried with your personal leftist idea,, also remember that ABG is just one the many possible vendors in Haldia. Nobody is sacrosanct,, not body has a permamnent right on the haldia port except port trust authority. they are just one vendor. If they are leaving, they are leaving on their own. Another possible vendor will be there soon... whats so hullabola.. yes true the existing another berth controlling cos are connected with TMC..Let the fittest handle the port.. if some cos need govt's care even for handling their corporate HR, let them go whereever they r good... i suggest you spend 3-4 days in haldia,, before writing such raw analogy...classroom theories do not work in Corporates, politics.. u r too naive to understand that

Nobody is sacrosanct and neither is the government of WB or your beloved leader Didi! What matters in corporate world is perception and right now the industry perception is that TMC is even worse than the abominable Lefts! you can talk big things, but all that matters in the end are the numbers on new industries in Bengal since her rule. And I don't think anyone can argue convincingly in a rational way against the fact that she is already an even bigger failure than the Lefts!

People like you will never understand the concerns of the rest of the world regarding the present industrial scenarios and policies of the WB government. You have your head buried in the sand and will continue to have so until there is nothing else left other than a necropolis in WB!

btw, who is this "Dipankar" or "professor" that you are wildly blabbering and fighting against? And for your kind info, I am not only NOT a left supporter,I in fact supported the TMC and was extremely pleased when Mamata came to power - hoping that things will finally pick up from the absolute wreck the Left have left the state in. Instead I only find even more frightening disappointments and harebrained, good for nothing, servile people like you supporting her every action dangerously like nincompoops!
