US is very diverse, but the unity and pride in being American in its citizenry is unmatched.

Woes of Being Mango in India

Went to MCHI-CREDAI Property Exhibition 2012, MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.........................................

The venue was full packed..... Lots of inquisitive eyes and Pavilion hoppers.... with a dream to 'Own House'...

I also enquired about some projects and found the rates "Jacked Up"..... How is this possible? Is this true? It is something not in tune with the sentiments prevailing in the country....

Also, Enquired at some stalls regarding the projects (of suburb areas....)

At many stalls, they talked whole things, about payment etc. etc.... but when cornered and asked about the registration of the 'shortlisted flats'... they just replied... some papers etc. required to be approved from the collector's office...
How can such projects are allowed to market at the exhibition??????

I feel, if our is not a BANANA REPUBLIC and rules and guidelines are stringent, then after through legal scrutiny, the Builders should be allowed to participate in such exhibitions and mechanism must be in place to address the Grievance and solve the matter QUICKLY... alas! In India, it takes Years to wipe the tears of the investors..........

No one cares about the Indian Mangoes and they also themselves, don't mind.......

Is anybody listening???????

Yes Anuradha,U r bang on target but you need to identify the cause of all these problems and the solution to these problems.. but alas in India nobody cares how she manages her affairs not even the worthless politician who are the real owners of India. The unbridled power to these scum politicians coupled with absolutely no accountability has allowed the nation to rot from the time of independence of modern India.Unless the constitution is overhauled nothing is going to change. And the politicians will remains the biggest con artists of the world!!!

With so much population, India and China are filled with fraudsters, although China looks much beautiful from outside. Blame it on anything but Europeans cannot govern India, our own politicians have to add new laws and make and implement these. See what Anna and team are fighting for. The real mango fruit will be eaten few generations later. We should be happy with Banana for now.

The authorities are reigned in within the political and business class dominated boundaries. The no. of good are simply outnumbered by the bad and ugly.
