good - u got salary increment where nothing to save. How about the people who have not got increments for years???
and even th people who got it - do they get every 2/3 months the way they are increasing prices?
There should be a law to allow them increase MAX once/twice in a year. Do proper forecast and define price - not like small grocery/cloth shop which can sell any product at any different price each day.

it is going to rise continuoulsy
by gundu on May 25, 2012 05:49 PM

petrol price is going to rise continuoulsy. be prepared for that rather than crying. no govt can do anything about it. if you have no objection to home price rise, why object to petrol price hike. it is imported. it is not water from Ganga or arabian sea. or reduce vehicles and go on bicyle or walk.

Oil price regulation
by Srinivasan Thyagarajan on May 25, 2012 05:44 PM

In a country of the type we are there is a need to regulate prices. The responsibility is with the government. How do the oil companies cost their product? what happens to storage of 3 months stock as well as cost of processing in $ and as per US norms.effectively we will increase use of diesel in luxury cars segment.Don;t we have rate contracts for supply of oil at fixed price as it used to be in the past?
Government and oil marketing firms should be transparent and they can always take steps to control wasteful use like in inefficient 2 wheelers cars etc
