Re: Copycat by Zeng on Mar 23, 2012 01:16 PM Most car manufacturers these days follow similar design across models. Volkswagaon gave exactly same looks to their 5 lacs, 10 lacs and 20 lacs cars. You dont complain when BMW has a 50 lacs car that looks similar to the 30 lacs car, do you? Hyundai is far better, Sonata is a little different than Verna, bigger and more elegant too. Actually this is a great car, the one which is better equipped and VFM than Camries and Accord. Unfortunately the Hyundai people are being too hasty - launching about seven cars looking the same - from eon , I10 , I20 , Verna , Elantra Sonata and Tucson. This is a direct competion to accord / camry, so price is actually low. In fact it is only slighly costlier than Jetta, which is a segment below. Car should do reasonably well, but even Accord / Camry doesn't sell in large number.
